Survey on electricity consumption and efficiency potential in data centers
On behalf of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy, TEP Energy is conducting a new survey on electricity consumption and efficiency potential in server rooms and data centres. The study is implemented in
collaboration with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and updates the data from 2019/2020.

Municipal energy planning for Volketswil has been published
The municipality of Volketswil has revised its municipal energy planning together with TEP Energy, suppliers and authorities. The aim is to achieve a fossil-free heat supply based on local potential. The plan was approved in 2025 and can be viewed online.

Sweet - SURE analyses the impact of disruptive events on the Swiss energy system. TEP Energy is working on energy demand topics such as the development of demand for energy sources in Switzerland, the impact of shocks on the demand load and the potential use of large heat pumps.
