Profile and Philosophy

TEP stands for Technology, Economics and Policy – the three essential aspects that determine energy and climate today and in the future. From a technological point of view, we analyse cities, buildings, facilities and construction methods in terms of how they deal with energy. Economically, we are interested, for example, in cost/benefit assessments and the cost efficiency of energy measures. The policy area comprises energy and climate policy goals, instruments and measures in the communal, cantonal, Swiss and European context.

The world as we know it today must change. The careful use of our natural resources and the development of sustainable utility systems must become a matter of course – and we want to make our contribution towards this change. As energy experts, we elaborate the facts you need to move into the energy future in a goal-oriented, strategic and well-equipped manner.
