Load Curve Model eLOAD
Using the eLOAD model, we create temporally and technologically high-resolution analyses of the future energy load curve and load management. As an important component of the smart grid, load management actively controls electricity consumption. With eLOAD, we calculate the hourly cost optimisation for industrial processes, electric vehicles, heating and air conditioning applications and household appliances. A special feature is the modelling of photovoltaic self-power supply in combination with decentralised battery storage systems.
The results of the load curve model eLOAD show the potentials and advantages of an efficient load management in a quantitative manner. Companies can identify new business models and individual customer groups and reduce their energy costs.
