Building Retrofit Tool INSPIRE
The INSPIRE tool can be used to calculate energetic, ecological and economic indicators and evaluate various retrofitting and energy production strategies and their mitigation impact in terms of greenhouse gas emissions and primary energy consumption in buildings.
We developed the tool together with econcept as part of a project supported by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE). INSPIRE stands for "Integrated strategies and policy instruments for retrofitting buildings to reduce primary energy use and GHG emissions". Thanks to the capability of the tool for the integral evaluation of entire bundles of measures, available economic resources can be used and allocated efficiently in order to achieve the highest possible impact, both on new buildings and on building renovations.
The tool is available in German, French and English and can be downloaded free of charge:

Projects
Net-zero greenhouse gas emissions in the building sector | TEP Energy
The aim of the project is to develop a common definition of "net zero greenhouse gas emissions in the building sector" for Switzerland that is accepted by all stakeholders and can be used as a basis for setting limits and targets.
LICS – Low-investment-cost retrofit solutions
Potentials and limitations of existing and new low-investment-cost retrofit solutions to achieve a benchmark of 6 kg CO2 per m2 in existing buildings
INSPIRE Tool: Energetic, Ecological and Economic Renovation of Buildings
With the INSPIRE tool you can calculate energy, ecological and economic indicators as well as strategies for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) and primary energy consumption of buildings.
