Potential analyses: energy efficiency and renewable energies
We analyse technical, economic, operational, organisational and planning measures in the building sector and identify existing potential for increasing energy efficiency and for switching to the use of renewable energies. This includes the correct dimensioning of installations, demand-oriented control and regulation, the use of efficient products and services as well as the choice of the ideal energy source. We design and evaluate energy policy instruments to remove barriers and activate motivation potential. We quantify the expected results of the increase in efficiency and the use of renewable energies at different levels (single buildings, neighbourhoods, cities, cantons, Switzerland and Europe).
To sum up: energy efficiency combined with sustainable energy generation is worthwhile!
