Marc Melliger

Marc Melliger is a project associate at TEP Energy GmbH and has several years of experience in the field of renewable energy, energy systems, policy and economics, and is adept in using qualitative and quantitative methods. At TEP, Marc is involved in projects about building technology, energy demand and efficiency, energy policy, and investment decisions.
He completed his Master in Environmental Sciences at ETH Zurich, where he specialized in environmental systems and policy analysis, including modelling the potential for electromobility in Switzerland.
He is completing his PhD in 2022, under the supervision of Prof. Johan Lilliestam. In his thesis, he focuses on the behaviour of renewable energy investors in a changing European policy environment. He is the author of several research articles in internationally recognized journals.
In his private life Marc is a passionate drummer in a funk and jazz band.
