Cantonal energy indicators and CO2 emissions in the building sector

TEP is conducting a project to update data in the Building and Housing Register (GWR) as well as cantonal energy indicators (EKZ) and CO₂ emissions in the building sector. Data on heating systems, building condition, and renovation work are being collected. This information is essential for various tasks at federal, cantonal, and municipal levels, e.g., for energy and climate strategies, energy planning, and monitoring energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.
