Final report published: Low Invest Cost Sanierungen (LICS)
The Swiss building stock is in great need of refurbishment. However, for building owners, the decision as to which parts of the building should be refurbished is usually also a question of cost. Refurbishment measures that have a high energy-saving potential, such as building envelope refurbishment, are usually associated with high investment costs. However, the LICS project shows that other refurbishment measures with lower investment costs can also achieve the desired effects - reduction of CO₂ emmissions, energy efficiency.
