EEG-Workshop Zurich
TEP Energy held the first three-part workshop on the promotion of energy efficiency and renewable energies in buildings (EEG) in Zurich. The event is part of the global programme "Energy Efficiency and Building Technology Accelerator" (EEB) by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and by Climate-KIC. Worldwide, 11 cities have already participated.
Around 140 leading experts and actors, from across the entire value chain of buildings and energy from industry, research, politics and administration gathered at these workshops to develop innovative and cross-industry solutions for increasing energy efficiency and the use of renewable energies in buildings.
The final version of the EEG Action Plan Zurich has been posted on the website of the EEG workshop (available after sign-up). Thanks to the three-part workshop series, around 80 actions have been developed, which at the same time form the basis for the development of the Switzerland-wide EEB platform. This platform is created in cooperation with EnergieSchweiz as well as other leading companies and institutions.
More information on the EEG platform can be found in the relevant project description and on the EEG website.
